Brazil - From Lewis Hamilton's 16-place climb to Max Verstappen's lap record, here are 5 memorable moments from the 2017 Brazilian Grand Prix.

Ferrari vs Mercedes

Ferrari flew out of the starting blocks with Sebastian Vettel overtaking Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas before the first corner.

Kimi Räikkönen, who started in P3, showed his consistency by maintaining his position for the entire race.

Also, Lewis Hamilton was awarded with the driver of the day accolade and rightfully so. After starting from the pits, the Briton charged to P4 after an impressive showing. With 2 laps to go, Hamilton pushed Kimi for a P3 spot but was unlucky to have run out of laps to overtake the Finn.

That said, here are 5 memorable moments from the Brazilian GP:

5. Ferrari's quick start

Vettel, who started in P2, managed to launch quicker off the line than Bottas in P1 and overtook the Mercedes driver before the first turn. Vettel retained his position ahead of Bottas while Räikkönen began and finished in third spot.

4. Max Verstappen's race record - fastest lap

Despite finishing in an underwhelming 5th spot, 'Mad Max' set a new fastest lap time at Interlagos.

3. Hamilton's charge from the pits

The 2017 champion showed his mettle by climbing 16 places top finish in P4 after starting the race from the pit lane.

2. Vettel secures second spot

With Vettel coming out on tops in Brazil, the German warded Bottas off in the race for 2nd spot in the driver's championship.

1. Massa's last race at home

Having announced his retirement from earlier this month, Massa said goodbye to his fans at home.
