The current state of Formula One is the cause for the imminent departure of fans.
Since the statement by Ferrari that the team will only be capable of challenging the front runners in 2022, brings tears to my eyes. How could an organisation of such magnitude, get things so wrong, going backwards in performance, compared to most other teams on the grid?
This should ring well with the F1 organisers and the FIA. Keeping with the desire to cut cost, I would like to propose that Lewis Hamilton is sent out as the only racing participant. All other competitors remain at home and compete against each other via virtual racing! The outcome will, as usual, result in Hamilton winning because there are simply no challengers.
Masses of money will be saved because there will be no cost for marshals, pit crew, emergency support, and other operational services.
The results will be as usual where Hamilton loves to win; in fact, his challenge will be an attempt to catch himself up to lap himself.
After being an enthusiastic follower since 1976, I am now keen to cancel my Sky F1 subscription and follow MotoGP which has ever-changing results and real close racing.
