'Too safe to be exciting' - Kevin Magnussen speaks on F1 halo safety device

Budapest - More than one year after it was first tested, and after consideration of a recent alternative, the "halo" cockpit protection system will be used on Formula 1 cars from next year onward.

Sauber's Kevin Magnussen speaking to media ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix said: "I'm also against, I don't think it's what F1 should be about. I think there should be a limit or at least a more clever way to improve the safety.  I don't think halo is the right away. I think there's a limit where it becomes too safe to be exciting."
