Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel came out tops in a crash-marred Belgian grand prix, while the dramatic crash on the first lap involving Fernando Alonso's car going airborne is a topic of discussion.

Alonso goes flying

A crash on the very first lap resulted in Nico Hulkenberg, Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen, Daniel Ricciardo and Charles Leclerc not being able to finish the race. Luckily none of the drivers were injured.

Fernando Alonso's McLaren was sent spiralling airborne over the halo-fitted cockpit of Charles Leclerc's Sauber.

The tussle for the top between Vettel and Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton seems to be hotting up as Hamilton's lead at the top was trimmed by 7 points from 24 to 17 points as they prepare for this weekend's Italian grand prix.
