'Fast, furious and a fighter'... F1 paddock pays tribute to Alonso

Two-time Formula 1 champion who many consider to be one the best driver's of his generation hangs up his F1 racing boots this weekend in Abu Dhabi. 

Alonso won back-to-back titles with Renault in 2005 and 2006 before joining McLaren to partner with now five-time world champion Lewis Hamilton who was a rookie in the sport.

The Spaniard won 32 grand prix amassing 22 pole positions and 23 fastest laps. The McLaren driver will start 15th on the grid for Sunday's season-ending Abu Dhabi GP. 

Formula 1.com has put together a touching tribute film with many of the sport's notable names giving their impression of Alonso.
