Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton had a chance to win the 2018 F1 title with three races remaining. Sadly, he did not yet he remains a perfect position to grab the title.
Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel still has a chance to stage an upset give Hamilton a good run for his money.
Both Vettel and Hamilton failed to collect maximum points at the US Grand prix, leaving the title chase open as F1 heads to Mexico for the 19th race of the season.
Best of the rest
Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen's lap time in Austria (1min06.957) is still fastest by far this season, the only driver who came close is Red Bull's Max Verstappen with 1min13.864 set in Canada.
Valtteri Bottas holds the most fastest laps this season with five so far and his best lap was in Bahrain (1min33.740).

Hamilton vs Vettel
Lewis Hamilton is still in the driving seat as far as standings are concerned with Sebastian Vettel in 2nd place.
Hamilton has a total of 346 points this season to Vettel's 276 points.
For Vettel to win he needs to collect maximum points in the following 3 races (75 point) which will put him on 351 points.
That means that Hamilton needs to score less than 5 points during the next three races...
