Formula 1 drivers Valtteri Bottas and Esteban Ocon are set to compete in the Virtual Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, F1.com reported.

As before the race, played on Codemasters' F1 2019 game, will be live streamed on F1's Twitch channel, F1's Facebook page, Youtube and on F1.com at 19:00pm local time.

The race is expected to run for 1 hour 30 minutes, with a qualifying period followed by a 39-lap race, F1.com says.

Known for its glitz and glam, the race is run on the city streets and a win in the principality is coveted by all drivers, just ask Daniel Ricciardo

Who else can we expect to see logged into the race? Football fans will relish seeing Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang against Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and Red Bull's guest driver Kai Lenny, a big-wave surfer from Hawaii.

The usual sim-racing suspects are back too, Virtual Spanish GP winner George Russell will take familiar F1 racing drivers Alex Albon, Antonio Giovinazzi, Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc and Nicholas Latifi.

The Virtual GP series is in the wake of the extended shutdown period of the sport due to the global pandemic caused by the coronavirus.

In March the Automobile Club de Monaco announced the GP would be canceled as there was no alternative date. It was the first time since 1954 that the race would not take place.
