MUNICH, Germany - One of Michael Schumacher's sponsors is reported to be about to end its deal with the injured F1 legend.
For years advertising campaigns for mineral-water brand Rosbacher have featured a bare-chested Schumacher in various sporting poses.
Earlier in 2014 - when the Formula 1 legend was still in intensive care after being injured in a December 2013 skiing fall - parent company Hassia Gruppe's chief Dirk Hinkel said would continue to back Schumacher.
DEAL TO END?
Hinkel said back then: "We remain committed to him and his family and send him our best wishes."
He added that the more than eight-year collaboration with Schumacher had led to "a much higher awareness" of the Rosbacher brand but Swiss Sunday newspaper Sonntagsblick has reported that Hinkel has apparently had a change of heart.
Just as it emerges that Schumacher has left intensive care in France and is now in a Swiss rehabilitation hospital, the report claimed the great 45-year-old's Rosbacher contract would not extend beyond 2014.
