London, England - Italian police are investigating the theft of a steering wheel from Force India's garages at Monza, the Formula 1 team said.
A spokesman said the steering wheel was a spare for Sergio Perez's car and appeared to have been taken the night before qualifying for Italian GP, at the high-speed circuit near Milan.

The team did not give a value for the missing item.
Perez finished sixth in the race, with team mate Nico Hulkenberg seventh
