The threat of Monza's trackside marshals going on strike at the Italian GP is now over as a dispute with organisers "ended positively".
MONZA, Italy - In September 2013, Wheels24 reported that marshals supposed to cover the Italian GP at Monza were reportedly angry that they have not been reimbursed for travel expenses dating back to the 2012 Italian GP.
A Monza marshal said: "There are some who think only of the race, forgetting that somebody is making money at the expense of our labour. Despite our passion, many of us are thinking the only way to be heard is to strike."
'ENDED POSITIVELY'
Now it seems the threat of Monza's trackside marshals going on strike is over.
The dispute "ended positively on Thursday evening", Autosprint correspondent Roberto Chinchero reported.
