BERLIN, Germany - McLaren will unveil its 2015 Formula 1 race car on January 29 and Ferrari will follow the next day as both teams hope for a better season than that just passed.
McLaren tweeted on January 9: "The new era begins. Introducing the McLarenHonda MP430. Launching online January 29 2015".
McLaren has started a new co-operation with engine partner Honda after a long partnership with Mercedes. The team won four consecutive world titles with Honda (1988-1991) with Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost.

The team hopes to return to the title fight in 2015, after finishing a modest fifth in 2014, with former F1 champions Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso - the latter back at the team after a first term in 2007.
Alonso joined McLaren from Ferrari, which now has four-time champion Sebastian Vettel in his place alongside Kimi Raikkonen, the most recent driver to win the title for Ferrari way back in 2007.
Ferrari, which managed only fourth in the 2014 champioinship, said: "We will launch the F1 car on the Scuderia's website and on its digital and social platforms on Friday January 30."
Each team will have its new car on the track for the start of pre-season testing from February 1-4 in Jerez, Spain.
The first race will be on March 15 in Australia.
Force India, which has Mexican sponsors, will have a livery launch in Mexico City on January 21.
