Lotus names second 2012 driver

PARIS, France - French driver Romain Grosjean, 25, will drive for Lotus Renault GP in 2012 alongside returning former Formula 1 World champion Kimi Raikkonen

"I'm smiling at the prospect of being back behind the wheel," Grosjean said. "I feel incredibly privileged to have been offered this chance."


Grosjean drove in seven grands prix for Renault in the 2009 F1 season; 13th was his best result.

He is backed by Genii Capital, which owns the Lotus team, and his r eturn follows his winnng the 2011 GP2 championship.
