ERLIN, Germany - Robert Kubica is testing with Mercedes on the F1 team's race simulator as he attempts a return following a serious rally accident in 2011, sources told dpa.
Kubica, 28, who raced for BMW and Renault in F1, has been testing on the simulator at the team's works in Brackley, England, according to dpa.
There was no official confirmation from Mercedes with whom Kubica carried out tests at the end of 2012, in the Germany-based DTM series.
After four races during the 2013 F1 season, Mercedes are fourth in the constructors' championship. Lewis Hamilton, who joined from McLaren, has twice been on the podium, while Nico Rosberg on pole position at Sunday's (April 21) Bahrain GP.
