NO CHANGE: Former Marussia driver Jules Bianchi is still "unresponsive" in hospital, a report says. Image: Shutterstock

NICE, France - Five months after his horror Suzuka crash Jules Bianchi remains in a coma in a hospital.

That's the claim of the major German daily Bild even though official news about the health of the talented former Marussia driver stopped some time ago - as is the case with Michael Schumacher.

Only a week before the new F1 season begins the newspaper claims there is actually "no good news" to report from Bianchi's bed in Nice.

NOT AWAKE

"Bild has learned that his condition has not improved," the report said.

Bianchi, 25, was transferred to his home town in November 2014 when drugs to keep him in an artificial coma were stopped.

Bild, however, said the young Frenchman did not wake up.

The F1 season starts in Melbourne, Australia, on 15 March 2015.
