Austria win? 'Not realistic,' says Vettel

SPIELBERG, Austria -  Sebastian Vettel on Thursday (June 18) admitted he is not expecting to win the 2015 Austrian GP (June 21).

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff headed into the weekend's racing at the Red Bull Ring in Austria warning that Ferrari did not make the most of its upgraded engine in Canada.

He  said: "The battle is far from over."

WAIT FOR MERC STUMBLE

Ferrari's Vettel acknowledged that the target was to win: "We always try for the victory."

Vettel said Ferrari did have a "strong package" but it was still not realistic to head into race weekends expecting to win.

Vettel said: "We have to be realistic. We know we need a perfect weekend and for Mercedes to stumble. Under normal circumstances it is very difficult to beat them.

"The gap is still quite large."
