BARCELONA, Spain - McLaren's Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso, 33, spent Sunday night in hospital after crashing into a track wall at more than 200km/h on the last day of F1's second pre-season test at the Catalunya circuit near here.

The Spaniard, a double F1 champion, returned to McLaren for the 2015 season after five years with Ferrari, was concussed by the crash.
