BERLIN, Germany - Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher doesn't fancy the life of a motorsport television commentator - he'd rather have a stable life helping his wife Corinna breed horses.
The seven-times World champion, who retired at the end of 2012, said travelling the world with the F1 caravan as a TV expert was "not my thing".
He said: "First of all F1 changes so quickly that even I am actually already a long way off. As a result it would be groping in the dark and that's not for me. Secondly, I would again be away from my family - I would be better off continuing to drive. That would be more fun."

During his three-year comeback that started in 2010, Schumacher managed only one podium place for Mercedes. Now he says he is enjoying his free time.
"I've spent my time since January as I like best: a lot of time together with the family and being active. Being free and without any commitments is something I have really enjoyed."
Much of the time has been helping Corinna, who breeds horses in Switzerland and on their ranch in the US.

Schumacher has also been helping his wife to promote her range of horse blankets and has also been taking part in riding tournaments with her.
He said: "I can say at the beginning I did it for Corinna's sake - but now it's more and more fun. It's like most things: the more you get involved the more interesting it becomes."
Schumacher says he will watch the Australian GP, the first race of the 2013 season, on TV at home: "I think the season's going to be really tight."
