2015 Hungarian GP: Perez flips F1 car!

BUDAPEST, Hungary - Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time during a crash-filled first practice session ahead of the 2015 Hungarian GP.

Hamilton set a time of 1min25.141 ahead of team mate Nico Rosberg (1min25.250) and Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen (1min25.812).

The session was marred by several crashes.

PEREZ CAR FLIPPED

There was a major scare when the red flag came out one hour into the session as Sergio Perez flipped his Force India car on turn 11, with the rear skidding out from under him and sending him into the barriers and toppling over.

BIANCHI HONOURED

Since the tragic death of driver Jules Bianchi F1 teams decorated their cars, drivers' helmets and garages with the #JB17 stickers.

Bianchi died on Friday (July 17), nine months after sustaining head injuries in a impact with a recovery vehicle in torrential rain during the 2014 Japanese F1 GP at Suzuka.
