In our New Model of the Month awards the public gets to choose the top new vehicle model of the month. Then in January 2009 readers can vote from 12 candidates for Wheels24's New Model of the Year for 2008.
Wheels24 will choose the monthly candidates. Eligible candidates include all-new model derivatives, major facelifts and/or significant engine changes launched in a specific month.
To catch up with cars launched since the beginning of the year readers will vote from 6 to 12 May for the winner for February, and from 13 to 21 May vehicles launched in March will follow. Then from 22 May readers can vote for vehicles launched in April.
The winner for January is the facelifted BMW 6 Series. About 2 500 votes were cast for the January awards.
