Suzuki SA promises pre-delivery GSX fix

LONDON, England - Suzuki has confirmed a global recall of its GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F units.

Suzuki SA will not be affected - at least directly for a recall - since no units have yet arrived in the country. The bikes will be fixed before being delivered to customers.

CLEARANCE CONCERN

The recall does affects 174 registered motorcycles in the UK - a radiator hose's clearance must be adjusted so, if you've ordered one in SA, make sure the fix has been done before taking delivery.

Customers affected with officially imported and registered machines will receive a letter from Suzuki shortly after the modification parts arrive, advising them to contact their local authorised Suzuki dealer, who will carry out the fitment of the new component free of charge.

The work will take less than an hour. No charge.
