DETROIT, Michigan - Harley-Davidson is recalling nearly 46 000 motorcycles in the US because they could stay in gear due to defective clutches.

The problem was found through customer complaints and Harley said the company knew of 27 reported crashes and four minor injuries.

The recall covers certain 2014 and 2015 Electra Glide, Ultra Limited, Police Electra Glide, Street Glide, Road Glide and Road King models.
