Triumph’s Tiger was always going to bear a strong resemblance to BMW’s F 800 GS. The Beemer is after all part of the most successful dual-purpose motorcycle line-up.

But we couldn’t have anticipated just how closely the new Triumph adventure bike would lean towards the Bavarian direction until we saw the first official images.

Believed to be powered by the a three cylinder 675cc mill, the Tiger 800 XC will only be officially launched at the EICMA Show in Milan at the beginning of November.
