CBR's new colours for SBK finale

The Honda World Superbike team will be running its CBR 1000RR Fireblade in new colours for the final round of the 2012 championship at Magny-Cours, France.

A new colour scheme for the 2013 Fireblade was unveiled at the Intermot motorcycle exhibition in October 2012.

To promote the new design the superbike team has kitted its racers in the colour-scheme, too.

The graphics on the racing version of Honda’s flagship sportsbike also feature the headlight stickers that will be obligatory in next year’s World Superbike championship.

Honda rider Jonathan Rea commented: “I like this new paint scheme, especially as it underlines the fact that we’re racing on production bikes that you can buy at your local Honda dealer. Ours are maybe a little more sophisticated, but the link is definitely there.”

The race on October 7, 2012 will be the only occasion that the new colour scheme is run since the Honda team will run with title sponsor Pata for the 2013 season with a new design for the racing CBR machines.

#YAAAWWwn#...CBR has become such a boring bike in Superbike terms hese last few years, every Superbike currently out has something about that makes it "special", stupid power, avg power but great sound, stupid wild handling, the Blade is like the jack of all trades, nothing outstanding, must thank the Japs for that, they have really milked the consumers with mild upgrades for the last 10 years, now to resort to "WSB Colours" punting screams DESPERATE! Stick with the Repsol colours and give us some PROPER upgrades Honda, stick it to BMW/Ducati!
