ADVENTURE TOURS: Triumph is offering biking enthusiasts the chance to go adventuring with their 800XC

Triumph has launched a global Adventure Tour service set to highlight its recently launched Tiger 800XC’s rougher side.

The motorcycle manufacturer has announced a new Adventure Tour service for 2011 which will showcase the rougher side of the recently launched Tiger 800XC.

Five tours have been planned for 2011 and range in length from 11 to 16 days. The tours will kick off in June and the company says it has plans to offer an extended programme and wider ranging itinerary for 2012.

“Adventurers looking for a Sahara experience can take on the North African Triumph Adventure Tour, while an Asian trip around stunning Thailand is scheduled to take place in December,” according to Triumph.

Three trips are also planned for the UK and each will start at the company’s Hinckley factory before setting off to the Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands or Austria respectively (for the annual Triumph Tridays party).

All Adventure tours will include an insured Tiger 800XC for the duration of the event with the exception of the Tridays event which will see riders heading to Austria on their own motorcycles.

Tours include accommodation and a fully equipped support van so you don’t have to lug your own bags around.
