Akrapovic's monster chopper

Akrapovic’s Morsus is a one-off beauty and sadly won’t be heading to showrooms.
Akrapovic, traditionally associated with creating some of the finest exhaust systems for cars and bikes, has now turned its hand to developing a striking chopper – the Morsus.

It was built as a joint effort between Akrapovic and its Slovenian countrymen Dreamachine Motorcycles with a massive 1852cc S&S engine which churns out a not unimpressive 84kW.

In addition to some bling (26" carbon disc-style wheels, teardrop mirrors and 3D triple trees) the bike also sports a gleaming Akrapovic exhaust.

'QUITE CHALLENGING'

“This project was a big challenge for me,” said Tomaz Capuder from Dreamachine Motorcycles. “I admire the work of Igor Akrapovic very much and I wanted to put together two motorcycle worlds, racing and custom.

“I followed also an idea of special cycle chrono bike on 26" wheels, which was quite challenging, but I’m quite happy with the result as the body of the bike, from many angles, looks like a Scorpion.”

The Morsus was developed to raise awareness of the company’s products, specifically Akrapovic’s new cruiser-inspired exhaust system. Sad, but as a result this one-off beauty is not for sale.
