Cape Town - The Wesbank 2017 South African Car of the Year competition is in its final stages with the overall winner set be announced on March 15.
The 10 finalists were selected by the South African Guild of Motoring Journalist (SAGMJ).
Although the winner will be crowned later this week there's still time to vote for your top car in our readers poll.

In February, the results of our readers poll saw the Opel Astra (777 votes/19%) gain first place ahead of the Volkswagen Tiguan with 769 votes (19%) in second.
Third spot was occupied by Toyota's ubiquitous Fortuner with 504 votes (12%).

In March however, the tables have turned against Opel.
Volkswagen's Tiguan leads our poll with 1802 votes (22%), while the Opel Astra has racked in 1376 (17%) while the Toyota Fortuner remains in third 1046 (13%).
