Porsche Panamera crowned 2018 SA Car of the Year

Midrand - The South African Guild of Motoring Journalists has revealed the 2018 WesBank SA Car of the Year at a gala event in Gauteng on Tuesday (March 13).

The Porsche Panamera has won the coveted title in 2018; among the top three finalists, the Volvo S90 grabbed second place while the Alfa Romeo Giulia was third.

Porsche's victory brings the automaker's SA Car of the Year tally to four wins; Panamera (2018), Macan S (2015), Cayman S (2014) and Boxster (2013).

Finalists participating in the 2018 SA Car of the Year competition were put through their paces during a stringent two-day test programme in Gauteng earlier this year.
