PRETORIA, Gauteng - A man in his 30's was killed on Monday (Dec 28 2014) evening when a stuck bakkie he was trying to push rolled back over him on a farm near Kameelfontein, north of Pretoria.

Paramedics who had to battle along muddy tracks to reach the scene, a spokesman reported, found a bakkie stuck in thick mud in the middle of the gravel road.

The ER24 emergency crew found a man's body in the mud beneath the bakkie. He had already died of severe injuries.

HELP GONE WRONG

The man had apparently stopped to help get the bakkie moving but, as he was pushing, the vehicle rolled back and trapped and crushed him.

The incident is being investigated by police.
