The original Cannonball Run, staring Burt Reynolds, featured lots of thrills, spills, laughter and tears, and the Fireball Run promises to do the same - within the bounds of rules and regulations designed to ensure safety and protect other road users.
Timing.
The Fireball Run 2004 will start in Cape Town on Monday October 25, and will finish at Sun City on Sunday October 31.
Contestants and their race vehicles are expected in Cape Town on Sunday October 24, and will depart for home on Monday November 1 from Sun City.
This timing allows the organisers to include the Auto Africa Expo, as well as not being in conflict with the National Power Tour being run at Kyalami during the first weekend of November.
Wheels24 will be the official website, and readers will be able to track the progress of the race, and specific vehicles during the event.
