At DCSA's Merceds-Benz stand cars such as the Mercedes McLaren SLR super car and the all-new A-Class are on display.
At this stand is also the fastest stationwagon at Auto Africa's, the new E55 AMG estate. This sizzling estate features a mighty 5,5 liter V8 producing 350 kW.
Mercedes is also exhibiting its striking CLS coupé, which will also go on sale locally soon.
The face-lifted Jeep Cherokee is also at Auto Africa and Wrangler models, featuring a new six-speed manual transmission, is also being launched.
A Chrysler 300C sedan is also on display - this muscle American sedan will go on sale in South Africa in the second half of 2005.
This car marks Chrysler's return to a rear-drive, V-8 powered automobile for the first time in more than a decade.
Chrysler also raises the bar in the minivan segment, with the introduction of the innovative "Stow 'n Go" seating and storage system for the Voyager.
This sytem provides the only fold-in-the-floor second- and third-row seats, but also gives an available 340 litres of additional storage area when the seats are in their upright position.
The seating configuration goes from seven seats to two in less than 30 seconds, with a nearly effortless one-hand operation.
Mitsubishi is showcasing cars such as the exciting Lancer Evo 8, which will be imported to South Africa in limited numbers. There are also a Mitsubishi Colt, which Wheels24 expects could go on sale locally, and the spunky Tarmac Spider.
However, the big news for Mitsubishi at Auto Africa is the launch of a "budget" Pajero. The new Pajero GLX will go on sale in South Africa soon and will have a price tag of about R360 000, which is about R100 000 less than the five-door GLS model.
