As with most model changes the 2003 Corsa will move a bit more upmarket and the quality of materials also improves. It has a fresh look and a sophisticated design.
Unlike the current range there is no sedan version available yet but it is definitely on the radar screen. The Corsa sedan proved to be a popular vehicle locally and in Latin America.
We expect that Opel will introduce the three and five-door hatchback versions in South Africa. The next Corsa will also get a new engine range and a performance version will probably also be available at some time.
Safety features will include airbags and side-impact protection beams. Most models will probably also feature power steering.
The new Corsa has a lot of driver appeal and with its more upmarket design and quality it will probably set new standards in the South African small car sector.
Wheels24 will keep you posted as more information comes available on the new South African Corsa.
