Schumi 'tiring of F1'

The Australian, who brought a notable Flying Finn into the sport with Lotus in the early nineties, says Schumacher is now showing Mika Hakkinen-like signs of calling it a day.

"Mika went into (that) phase around 2000," Collins - also former Benetton and Williams team manager - said, "and now I think Michael Schumacher is."

He says that, like the retired Hakkinen, Schumacher still charges for victory but is inclined to throttle-off if a good result appears unlikely.

"I think that's exactly like Mika at that time," Peter remarked.
