'I WON'T QUIT' -SCHUMI

accreditation

The 36-year-old German, a veteran of 220 grands prix, said seven defeats to younger rivals so far this season does not make him want to quit.

"Let me say this clearly so you can write it down," Schumacher told Bild newspaper on Tuesday. "I'm not thinking about quitting."

He said the problem in 2005 is not that he can't 'keep up' with F1's newer generation. "With all the duels going on right now," Schumacher insisted, "racing is a lot more fun for me than a lot of people would imagine.

"Naturally I always try my best but sometimes the best isn't enough. I can accept that." -GMM
