Johannesburg - On Tuesday, July 25, Wheels24 published a series of videos by users showing reckless driving in South Africa.
Earlier in July 2016, Wheels24 reader Faan Oosthuizen sent us a harrowing video of a Chevrolet Ute bakkie driver nearly crashing into his vehicle.
Since then, many users shared shocking videos and stories of irresponsible behaviour on SA's roads captured on dash-cams.

Below is a list of clips and images sent to us by users:
Wheels24 reader De Wet Vorster posted a series of clips online, but the video featured in this article deserves to be highlighted; its shows reckless behaviour by a taxi driver in Gauteng.
Several taxis are seen cutting in from the left along the yellow line and skipping a red light at a huge intersection. It should be noted that other road users aren't innocent as this clip reveals. A white Volkswagen Golf Mk3 can be seen performing a dangerous lane-switch, the driver is not even bothered to use his/her indicators.
In fact, many drivers can be seen driving through the intersection while the robot is red.
Here's another clip captured by dash-cam clips showing bad drivers and a very impatient taxi driver...
WATCH Bad driving in SA: Two trucks chase each other as lanes merge
Wheels24 user lvuyozililo sent us this harrowing video of two truck drivers attempting to race each other as lanes merge. Click on the gif below for the full video.
Renate van Rooyen sent in this image of a white Nissan NP200 bakkie illegally overtaking in Limpopo.
Van Rooyen says: "The bakkie was overtaking us and a truck in the mountains right after Strydom tunnel. There was a slow bend in the road, absolutely no way he could see oncoming traffic. There are obvious solid lines."
Arrive Alive: "Overtaking across a barrier line which is illegal and reckless - this amounts to more than a mere traffic violation as it is reckless driving which if found guilty can leave him with a criminal record.
'He is also performing multiple vehicle overtaking which, even though not illegal, is very unsafe."
