Wheels24 reader SHAUN CURRIE captured images of Porsche's 661kW 918 Spyder hybrid at a fuel station in Bryanston, Gauteng.

Currie said: "The Porsche was spotted at an Engen garage on Main Road, Bryanston, on November 30 2013. It appeared to have been from the Porsche dealership on Witkoppen road.
"There were two gentleman in the vehicle, one of whom may possibly have been Toby Venter of Porsche South Africa."
661KW HYBRID
Porsche’s 918 Spyder has a hybrid engine capable of 661kW and is able to accelerate to 100km/h 2.8 seconds. According to the automaker, fuel consumption is 2.6 litres/100km.
The 918 Spyder will be on display alongside another Porsche hybrid – the Panamera S E-Hybrid.
Porsche SA's spokesperson confirmed it was indeed Toby Venter driving a 918 Spyder. According to Porsche, four pre-production units are in South Africa for hot-weather testing.
The spokesman said: "We have some really hot weather and strange climate conditions here. Sadly, the cars will leave SA mid-December 2013.
"Since the cars are left-hand drive and only 918 units will be built globally, South Africans are not likely to see the car here again."
