In September 2013, Wheels24 reported on 40 semi-finalists in the 2014 SA Car of the Year competition. In October 2013, nine finalists were named at the 2013 Johannesburg International Motor Show.

We asked our readers which car they'd like to see claim the 2014 SA Coty title and our homepage voting booth has garnered 8922 votes.
Volvo's V40 has a commanding lead with 3375 votes, followed by Lexus' IS 350 (1563) and VW's Golf 7 (989) in second and third place respectively.
In last place is the Porsche Cayman S with 305 votes.
