Cape Town - Meet Robin and Yoshi (the dog) and their Nissan Sunny truck.

Faithfully and lovingly injected with some JDM cool, this is an 80's era half tonner that's been transformed from an Mzansi icon into a Japanese one.

Bringing the '80s back

The car: 1980's era Nissan Sunny Truck (read: bakkie) featuring a mildly worked A14 engine, with Tomei pushed and 40 DCOE Carburettors.

Suspension work includes custom coilovers and Nissan competition springs upfront, adjustable rear shackles and lowering blocks at the rear, as well as KYB short throw shocks.

The cabin has been adorned with Kameari bucket seats and an OMP Steering wheel. Those wheels are rare TOM'S Igetas, completing the JDM credentials required to make this car a true icon.
