WATCH: Justin Bieber's R2.6 million Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG breaks down in the middle of traffic

Justin Bieber was left red-faced when his Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG broke down on an intersection in New York earlier in July.

The singer, who was accompanied by his fiance, Hailey Baldwin, looked a bit worried on the side of the road but was forced to call the police for help and to divert traffic.

Not clear what was wrong

According to Auto Evolution, a mechanic arrived not too long after the vehicle had broken down and managed to get the car running again, although it is unclear what was wrong.

There is nothing worse than being stuck in traffic with motorists furiously hooting and giving you a piece of their mind in the process, but if you are Justin Bieber then it becomes a field day for paparazzi.

The singer is known for his selection of exotic super cars. He also owns a Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari 458 and a Porsche 997 Turbo.
