California - 1875kW is a lot of power by anyone's standards and that's what Jay Leno found out the hard way when he was passenger in a drag car.
Freak accident
According to a video posted online, Leno was filming an insert for his new show, Jay Leno's Garage, at Irwindale Speedway. Leno got in the passenger seat of a drag car driven by stunt driver, 80-year-old Bob Riggle.
The vehicle the pair drove was specifically designed and developed to conjure insane speeds, according to the Daily Mail.
After 'coasting' around Irwindale Speedway in California, Riggle applies the power to this rear-wheel driven monster car - much to Leno's delight.
Things quickly went haywire, however, as the car flipped and turned when Riggle seemed to make a standard procedure turn.
Thankfully, both Leno and Riggle walked away unscathed from the experience.
