Completely unaware

Given the size of the sinkhole, it would have been easy to spot, further adding to the theory that the man had been distracted by his phone.

Its said that the street hole measured five meters across, eight meters long and two meters deep.

No injuries, receiving help

According to media reports, the man suffered no serious injuries after witnesses rushed to his aid following his plunge into the hole.

The Mirror reported a van driver offered the man a ride to the hospital while two Samaritans cordoned off the hole to prevent further accidents.

CNN took to their Twitter handle and posted the video, reporting that the cause of the cave in is under investigation, while the clip shows what the site looked like the day after.
