United States - BMW set out to reclaim the Guinness World Record title for the longest vehicle drift in eight hours, and they did just so in the all new BMW M5.

Biggest challenge

The biggest challenge in breaking this record was the issue of fuel. The vehicle had to be refueled while in motion without taking the car out of drift.

This came with a fire hazard, the risk of causing an accident, not to mention the person refueling the car putting his body on the line.

The previous record was set with a 143km drift, the new one however, was set with a  232 km drift.
