Paris - The Grand Tour's Richard Hammond takes a look at the 'new original' Jaguar XKSS while in France. The XKSS sports a 3.4-litre straight six engine capable of 195kW.
Quality time and precious metals
The model Hammond took for a spin was an original and not a built replica, which took Jaguar over 10 000 hours to manufacture.
Jaguar built the XKSS with a chasis made from a light weight metal called Reynolds 531, which was used to build the World War 2 'Spitfire' and only weighs 39kg.
Hammond also revealed that the entire vehicle has 2000 rivots.
