There have been dozens of great car commercials focused around the Father's Day theme but we found two examples from BMW that will have you reaching for tissues.
'Daydreaming' tear-jerker
The first clip is a story about a young girl and her father. She complains about being bullied at school for 'daydreaming'.
Her father's advice is: "always remember to make those dreams a reality." Check out the clip below to see what she goes on to achieve.
One of the comments on the video says: "Such a moving and wonderful commercial that goes beyond the car. It's a loving connection of a father's love for his daughter and the result of inspiring a child to dream."
The second ad features a father and son going for a drive in the BMW M2. The proud son obtains his licence and is finally able to take his father 'Ray Winston', a handicapped race car driver, back out on the track.
The dad recalls the days of him racing a E36 BMW race car and it's beautifully portrayed by the intensity in the actor's eyes.
It's a universal reminder that sometimes our fathers need us just as much as we need them. The film ends with the words "Sometimes we need our fathers. Sometimes they need us."
