California - You're strolling along the peaceful countryside, enjoying the scenery and fresh air when all of a sudden a race car swiftly drifts by, leaving you in a cloud of smoke.

A drifting beast

FormulaD pro driver, Matt Field, took his supercharged Nissan Falken Formula Drift car through a quiet California reservoir roadway and ripped through the quiet countryside.

In one of the segments of the video, Field is seen drifting ferociously past a cyclist in a cloud of smoke, an oncoming motorcyclist and even stopping in the middle of the road ahead of a passing chicken.

Field finished 2nd in the 2016 World drifting championship and 5th overall in the US championship.
