China - Whether you're parked in your driveway, running errands at a shopping centre, or chatting to a mate alongside the road... it’s important to always engage your handbrake and put your vehicle in gear when stopped.

Why? A video serves as the perfect demonstration why, even if you’re on a level surface, you should pull up your handbrake.

After stopping alongside the side of the road to speak to a friend, a driver, known as Zhang, according to LiveLeak, was forced to chase his runaway car. Zhang is not unlucky… just inattentive.

He rode over what?

Whilst talking to his friend, Zhang noticed his car slowly rolling backwards. He attempts to stop the runaway vehicle and hops inside.
