Gauteng - The BMW Car Club Gauteng will host its track day at Red Star Raceway on August 5, gates open at 8am.
The club says that all cars are welcome, provided you are a member which costs you just R350 a year.
Cars are grouped into 3 different slots on track according to driver skill and pace and no more than 20 cars are allowed on the track at one time, allowing enough room to do good lap time, the club added.
Bridgestone, the title sponsors of these events, are on hand to talk to you about tyre choice and technical information. Driving instructors and experienced members are also on standby should you need advice.
Bedfordview BMW will also showcase their latest models off the BMW M showroom, with lifestyle products available to purchase.
For those who don't want to participate can get 2 hot laps in the Bridgestone BMW Hot Lap Experience with a professional driver for just R100. Entry to spectators at the gate is free.
