South Africans will have to wait until 2015 when Ford's iconic muscle car, the Mustang, arrives. Until the 'stang arrives locally, SA fans will have to turn to YouTube to watch the muscle car in action.

A video posted on YouTube shows a modified version of the 2013 Mustang, known as the Roush Phase 3 Mustang, starring in an epic drift clip.

US professional drifter Justin Pawlak takes the reins from a bewildered valet "customer' and smoky antics ensue as Pawlak drifts his way around a packed car park at the Petersen Automotive Museum, Los Angeles, California.

DRIFTING THROUGH A PARKING LOT

At 1min20, Pawlak masterfully glides the car, and with some nifty camera work, it looks as if he is heading straight for a concrete pillar. Fortunately for the "owner", he tugs the Mustang back in line and fills the lot with smoke.

The brazen valet then proceeds to behave like a hooligan and show his supreme skill by performing several burnouts. Petrol heads will revel in the control that Pawlak demonstrates.
