HARTBEESPOORT, North West - Three bikers crashed into a car near Hartbeespoort when a Mercedes driver swerved into their lane. One of the bikers posted the shocking video online.

The Demented Rider of SA biker, known only as Kyle, posted the video on YouTube and said the following: "I am the rider that was filming the incident, I got off lucky with no broken bones just very bad whiplash, a really sore right leg and sore left hand.

"The guy on the Suzuki Hayabusa (Kevin) in front of me has a broken arm, broken ankle and a fractured spine, as well as a concussion - he took a hard hit to the head. The guy on the ZX6R (Zane) got a major cut just under his kneecap exposing his bone from the one side of his leg to the other.

"The driver of the Mercedes got out of the car walked to the side of the road and then walked back to the car. He got what looks like an iPad, took some pics then walked to the side of the road and lit a cigarette, he did not even bother to ask if we were OK or anything. Both the driver and the police refused to give us the drivers details!"

Could the bikers have swerved too avoid the crash? What should the driver have done and why did the police act as they did?  Email us and we'll publish your thoughts or use the Readers' Comments section below...
