ONTARIO, Canada - Since Corey Wadden was a kid, his mom raved about a 1973 Saab 99 EMS, a car that she's always wanted but could never own

Wadden, an the entrepreneur, surprised his mom with the keys to a new brown Saab 99 EMS.

Wadden posted a video of the event on YouTube. In the clip you can watch as his mother breaks down in tears while hugging her son after receiving the keys to a car she's adored for ages.

WORTH THE WAIT

He searched for the car for six months before eventually purchasing the '99 on eBay.

Wadden said: "It wasn't the same year or colour but it was close. It was a silver 1974. After talking with him (the seller) on the phone, I found out he had a lot of collectible Saabs, one of which was the exact make, model, colour and year I was looking for."

Wadden's mothers love for the Saab '73 99 EMS stems from when she used to clean houses for a living and one of her employers would let her move his car around the property. In 2012, Wadden's mother lost her job and her 25-year-old son set off on a challenge to earn enough money to help his mother financially.

Wadden has accumulated more than the equivalent of R840 000, you can keep up with his progress via his website: millionaireBy25.

CLASSIC SWEDISH HATCHBACK

The Saab 99 EMS (Electronic fuel injection manual Special) was introduced in 1972, originally only available in a two-door version. It had a stiff suspension, loads of features and was available in a palette of colours including sunset orange (like Wadden's mothers new ride).

It was powered by a 1985cc capable of 81kW and could propel the 99 EMS to a top speed of 170 km/h.
