Cape Town - Want to know when the best time to take a road trip is? Before the school holidays. The roads are empty, there's accommodation available and there's very little noise. 

My destination was the region of Tsitsikamma in the Eastern Cape, I spent two nights at the Storms River mouth rest camp and then two more at Nature's Valley, about 10km away from Plettenberg Bay.

More commonly known as the Garden Route, because of its diverse selection of vegetation and beautiful lakes and lagoons, it's also one of my favourite parts of the country.
